How does a car rental security deposit work on Resurve?

You set the deposit on the car or as a business default. It is recorded on the rental file — held, collected, charged, or released — next to pickup and return. It is not a separate spreadsheet.

Can tourists pay by card from abroad?

Yes. Guests can pay with cards your payment partner accepts, including international cards, once checkout is on for your business.

Does Resurve hold my customer payments?

No. Resurve records paid, pending, or failed on the rental. Your bank receives settlement from the payment partner on their schedule.

Does Resurve send the car rental receipt automatically?

When a rental is paid through checkout, POS, or a recorded deposit, Resurve issues the receipt on that rental. You can still issue one by hand when you run the payment yourself.
