From the rental

Known money events write the books.

Record the rental payment once. Resurve carries it into the books, so your desk and your accounts work from the same event.

“Month-end P&L already had yesterday’s checkout.”

What posts automatically

Paid checkout posts

When a card payment marks the rental paid, the books record it, the payment Resurve already recorded.

Counter cash posts

As soon as a counter collection is on the rental, it writes into Finance.

Known events only

Manual bills and statement imports cover the rest.

Books of the car

Attach spend to the car.

See the expenses behind each vehicle. Cleaning and maintenance stay attached to the car, making its costs easier to understand.

“I know which car that invoice belongs to.”

Expenses on the asset

Cleaning on the vehicle

Log a clean on the car and Resurve can post the expense on that asset.

Repairs on the car

Workshop spend you record on a vehicle stays attached to that car, not a lump repairs line.

Sales by vehicle

Reports can show which cars earn because each booking already named the car.

Bank and payroll

Statement import and reconcile.

Bring in your bank statement, match the transactions and prepare your reports. Give your accountant an organised record to work with.

“The reports match what we actually recorded.”

What Books owns today

Statement import

Import OFX or CSV from your bank and reconcile the lines.

Payroll with your provider

Payslips and statutory filings stay with your payroll provider. VAT is tracked; you file with the authority.

Month-end reports

P&L, balance sheet, and VAT summary from what you recorded.

Keep exploring · Payments

Payment goes to your account.

Your customer pays you. The payment is recorded against the rental, giving your team a clear view of what has been collected. Settlement follows your payment provider’s schedule.

“I checked my bank, there was no Resurve hold in the middle.”

How payment stays yours

You pay for software, not commission

Resurve is your monthly subscription. We do not take a percentage of the rental. Card processing fees go to the bank and your payment partner.

Settled by your payment partner

Card money settles under your merchant terms, straight into your bank. You see confirmation in seconds, with no Resurve payout delay.

The money stays yours

Money never sits in a Resurve wallet. Resurve records the payment and runs the rental file.

Home shows today’s jobs.

Open Home and see the work due for your role. The next pickup, outstanding payment or missing document is ready to act on.

“I opened the app and knew what to do.”

How jobs show up

Home is the work

Open the app and see the pickups, collections, and papers due, not an empty dashboard.

The right person sees it

Each person sees the work they’re allowed to handle. Frontline sees the handover. Finance sees the money that has not posted.

Fleet, Bookings, and Finance create the work

Those surfaces unlock the jobs. Home shows them.

Automation inside the products

What happens by itself

A paid rental and a recorded counter collection post into Finance. Manual bills, imports, and review stay with your team.

  • A paid rental posts

When checkout marks the rental paid, Finance records it, so you are not retyping it into a spreadsheet.

  • Counter cash posts

A counter collection writes into the same books as an online payment, once it is recorded on the rental.

  • Cleaning and repairs stay on the car

Log the expense on the vehicle and Resurve can post it there. A workshop invoice you never logged still waits for a person.

How it runs

How a rental hits the books

01

Something real happens

A checkout, a cash collection, a clean, a repair on the car.

02

Finance records it

When Resurve can own the numbers, the entry posts. If not, it waits as a job.

03

You read the month

P&L, VAT, and sales by vehicle, from the same system that ran the rental.

Books questions

What accounting is actually automatic?

Checkout and counter collections recorded on the rental, plus vehicle expenses you log on the car. Bank import, manual journals, and payroll stay outside that.

Does cleaning or maintenance hit the accounts?

When you log cleaning or a repair on the car, Resurve can post that expense and keep it on the vehicle. You are not copying workshop invoices into a second app for those events.

Can my accountant work in Resurve?

Yes. Books include a chart of accounts, expenses, journals, bank import, P&L, balance sheet, and VAT. Invite your accountant into Finance.

Does Resurve run payroll or file VAT?

No. Those need statutory filings Resurve does not own. VAT is tracked in the books and you file with the authority. Payroll is out of scope.
